Dr Emily Amos

Emily is a General Practitioner, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, 200hr yoga teacher, university tutor and mindfulness specialist. With her generalist medical background and further training in areas of interest, she approaches 'burnout', stress management and productivity in a multifaceted way.
After the process of facing her own battle with burnout and searching for a way to combine her love of education with her desire to help others, Emily founded the resource hub and blog The Healers Health Collective seeking to be of service to her colleagues who may at some point also find themselves on the path towards burnout.
She now joyfully embraces her innate skills in the "art of medicine" by using her breadth of experience in holistic self care and wellbeing practices as well as a comprehensive understanding of the science of behaviour change to help women find clarity and stillness in their own lives through her online course platform- Mind. Life. Me. Emily also continues to use her skills and training in breastfeeding, mindfulness and perinatal mental health to provide mindfulness based breastfeeding, newborn care and maternal wellbeing coaching to new mums via her website- MORE THAN MILK.
In a truely 'portfolio career' centred around the practice and teaching of mindfulness, Emily continues to work as a surgical assistant as well as teaching medical students mindfulness, self care and behaviour change at Monash University as part of the acclaimed 'Health Enhancement Program' run by mindfulness expert Associate Professor Craig Hassed.
